چکیده
Algae extract biostimulants increase nutrient uptake, stress tolerance, and productivity in several crops. However, there is still a gap the knowledge of mechanisms action algae extracts on nitrogen plant metabolism. This study aimed to evaluate effect commercial Ascophyllum nodosum metabolism nodulating soybean plants their productivity. Two concentrations (0.25% 0.50%) were used, which applied via seeds leaf spray. Seeds treated at sowing, sprayed twice two vegetative phenological stages. Plants harvested R5 stage for biochemical enzyme activity analyses root gene expression analyses. The experiment was carried out second time There an stem biomass, number pods seeds, weight with both concentrations. Biochemical analysis showed increased amino acid content leaves after application. No marked differences found regarding parameters related when data analysed individually. principal component heatmaps supported conclusion that N affected by application, leading higher seed production.

Soybean mosaic virus Helper Component-Protease Alters Leaf Morphology and Reduces Seed Production in Transgenic Soybean Plants.
ABSTRACT Transgenic soybean (Glycine max) plants expressing Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) helper component-protease (HC-Pro) showed altered vegetative and reproductive phenotypes and responses to SMV infection. When inoculated with SMV, transgenic plants expressing the lowest level of HC-Pro mRNA and those transformed with the vector alone initially showed mild SMV symptoms. Plants that accumulate...
متن کاملSeed Nitrogen Mobilization in Soybean: Effects of Seed Nitrogen Content and External Nitrogen Fertility
Soybean breeding programs have developed genetic lines with relatively low seed protein, which could negatively impact early seedling growth in low fertility conditions commonly encountered in the field. In these experiments, seed protein mobilization and its regulation in situ in soybean lines with different seed protein levels was investigated. The results showed that rates of nitrogen (N) re...
متن کاملIncreasing Nitrogen Fixation and Seed Development in Soybean Requires Complex Adjustments of Nodule Nitrogen Metabolism and Partitioning Processes
Legumes are able to access atmospheric di-nitrogen (N2) through a symbiotic relationship with rhizobia that reside within root nodules. In soybean, following N2 fixation by the bacteroids, ammonia is finally reduced in uninfected cells to allantoin and allantoic acid [1]. These ureides present the primary long-distance transport forms of nitrogen (N), and are exported from nodules via the xylem...
متن کاملSeed production in corn and soybean
Seed production is one of the least visible yet most important aspects of food and feed production. This part of the system is often taken for granted, even by the farmers who plant the seed. One of the reasons is that much of the seed in the United States is provided by the private sector, particularly for corn and soybean. Also, seed production is a technical process that requires in-depth kn...
متن کاملNitrogen metabolism and seed composition as influenced by glyphosate application in glyphosate-resistant soybean.
Previous research has demonstrated that glyphosate can affect nitrogen fixation or nitrogen assimilation in soybean. This 2-year field study investigated the effects of glyphosate application of 1.12 and 3.36 kg of ae ha(-1) on nitrogen metabolism and seed composition in glyphosate-resistant (GR) soybean. There was no effect of glyphosate application on nitrogen fixation as measured by acetylen...
